本地人救不了…
有关于创办人(Bak Kut Teh)的财政状况的讨论又重新开始。
“两个新加坡餐饮集团,Putien和创始人Bak Kut Teh,也将在中国西部开设首家门店,而成都则是其第一站。”
七月公开呼吁本地人救经济
三个月前,创始人Bak Kut Teh的第二代所有者公开呼吁大家帮帮忙。
他说到(Nigel Chua),自大流行开始以来,业务已下降了85%,如果情况在两个月内没有好转,可能会倒闭。
呼吁得到了支持也有强烈反对:有些人表示有意光顾摊位,而另一些人则批评家人“过着奢侈的生活方式”。
中国门店已经计划一年多
创办人巴(Bak Kut Teh)回应媒体公司的质疑时说,海外扩张是一年多前计划的。
海外分店计划于2020年12月开业。
另一方面,新加坡的生意仍然“不行”,这家餐馆已经在10月1日关闭了武吉士(Bugis)商店。
根据了解;该品牌在Balestier,Hotel Boss和Downtown East还有其他三个分店。

“We regret to announce that Founder Bak Kut Teh Singapore Bugis outlet will be closing with effect from 1 October 2020.
Singapore food business is suffering, and we continue to struggle like many other local F&B businesses. This is a reality and continues to be so. We hope to stay united with Singapore as we overcome the pandemic and value all the support we get.
With reference to an article on Founder Bak Kut Teh opening in Chengdu, this is a franchise model and the agreement was sealed in 2019 (pre-COVID). The opening was slated to be early this year but due to COVID, the plan was deferred till recently.
We hope to clarify that this franchise model is fully supported by our Chinese partners. We greatly appreciate that our franchisee is still willing to go ahead with the commitment and we do wish our brand can find success as it expands into China.”
